Highlight of my amateur career was winning the Western Junior and playing twice in the Masters as an amateur. Played college golf at Eastern New Mexico Univ. 2 time National Individual Champion. Also a Hall of Fame member at Eastern and the N.A.I.A. Hall of Fame.
Played PGA Tour for 11 years. Winning once at 1969 San Francisco Open. Played 3 Masters, 7 U.S. Opens and 6 PGA Championships. Best finish in a major, 5th in 1968 US Open. Elected to Gateway PGA Hall of Fame in 2006. Been Head Professional at St. Louis C C. for 32 Years.
